RDOC #98

Finally, dear reader, I have gotten around to writing another entry here in this little blog.
It's been about a month since my last post and plenty has happened. Admittedly not so much that I simply didn't have the time to write, but perhaps enough that I forgot to write. Yay for being scatterbrained..
Anyhow, in a nutshell, the months events:
Thanksgiving
Mad rush to complete final design project
Exams
Los Angeles

Yup, I've been here in LA for almost 2 weeks with my brother and family, seeing his girlfriend's family, eaten lots and lots of chinese food, visited a couple of museums, gone skiing (in the worst possible weather in which skiing is still humanly possible), spent quality time with my family and that's about the makings of a good holiday.

Mad rush to finish project: Pretty self explanatory. All I have to say is that my instructor was pretty impressed with the project that my group and I came up with and I'm kind of puzzled why I still got an A- for that class...

Thanksgiving at Chicago was fun. Visited Zhi'an and met two of her good friends and we bsically went around painting the city red. Incidentally that was also the first time somebody mistook me for a girl. We were seated at a restaurant and I was still wearing my jacket and bending over a menu so I suppose the waitress only saw my hair. And, since my 3 companions were all female she greeted us with a VERY enthusiastic "Hi girls!". So I just looked up and said "hi", resulting in a very flustered and embarassed waitress running back to the kitchen. We didn't see that waitress again that night too...

So that's about a month, in a nutshell.
